#5 Prestige World Wide 2 - Jelly Baby Task

The Jelly Baby task was to make the first five scenes in a 'ghost story thriller.' The shots are still photos put together in a short sequence. In the shots we used lego to create a backgound (graveyard), tissues to cover the jelly babys so that they appeared to be ghosts, and jelly babies as our characters.

1. In the first scene, the family of the lately deceased are visiting the dead in the local graveyard. The gargoyle sculptures are placed up high, perched on pillars to represent that they are the guardians of the grave. They are also used to create an eerie atmosphere.

2. In the second scene, it shows the two family members weeping whilst walking away. The wall is blocking the view of the ghosts of the grave, lerking around, possibably looking for an attack...

3. In the thrid scene the family turn the corner to find a surprise, ghosts!

4. In the forth scene, we see that the ghosts have beheaded one of the family members in a brutal attack. The other family member is still alive at this point, but the other ghost is blocking his facial expression, preparing to murder the second visiting family members.

5. In the fith scene, we now see four bodies in the graves, instead of two. The bodies have changed from a red to yellow colour to represent the loss of blood, and turning pale. The gargoyles have now leaped down from the pillars to observe the newly dead added to their grave. The gargoyles moving down from the original position brings a theme of darkness and sorrcery to the story. The ghosts have now moved above the dead bodies looking over them to represent authority and that the dead are imortal.
